U11 Fixtures this Saturday 28th @ New Road (Rumney)

Matches this Saturday 28th are @ New Road against Rumney, Maindy and Marshfield.  Kick off 10.30 a.m. Please aim to arrive by 10.15a.m.

Saturdays Squad: Black and White.

Directions: New Road is a turn off Rumney Hill right at the bottom. You can’t turn right there so you must go up and take the 2nd turn on the right into TY Mawr Road follow it right down to the bottom at the junction with New Road, turn right heading back towards Newport Road……or come back down Rumney Hill and turn left….pitches are on your right…..

Next Year – 11 a side

Dear Parents,

 As we move into the second half of the season, we have started to consider the impact of playing 11 a side next season on the squad. Over the remaining months of this season we will be trying out some different  playing combinations. To facilitate this we will be inviting some players from the Red and White squad periodically to join the Black squad on a more frequent basis.  

We will retain the  philosophy of ‘ Striving for Excellence, but with inclusion’ . We will continue to cater for all skill levels and support team development through including any weaker players in a stronger team, thus continuing to build  their confidence.

As the squad is more than holding its own this year, and playing some great football, it is also our intention to enter the ‘B’ league for the season 2012-2013.

U11 – Sat 21st – Splott

Not sure what happened Saturday, but the School Caretaker called the matches off?!

Training is on for Thursday @ 6.00p.m Llanedeyrn

Matches this Saturday are @ Splott Park against Splott, Whitchurch and Thornhill. Kick off 10.30 a.m. Please aim to arrive by 10.15a.m.

Directions: Newport Road heading East, turn at the traffic lights so you drive along Beresford Road which becomes Moorland Road. Turn left into North Park Road which will eventually bear right to become Muirton Road. Splott Park is on your right. There are pitches either side of the changing rooms.

U11 – Sat 17th Dec – Matches are ON – New Road, Rumney

Training is on Thursday 6.00p.m  Llanedeyrn HS

Matches on Sat 17th Dec  are @ NEW ROAD against Marshfield, Rumney and Radyr.. Kick Off 10.30a.m. Please arrive by 10.15 latest !!

U11 – Training is ON – not sure about Saturday 10th Dec fixtures yet…

Training is on Thursday 6.00p.m  Llanedeyrn HS

If all fixture matches are OFF on Saturday We are trying to arrange a Friendly (training) against Radyr (Gwaelod) to be held on Radyr Comprehensive Astroturf. Kick Off time TBC

We won’t know until Friday if the matches are off, or if we do in fact have a friendly so please keep an eye out for a last minute e-mail Friday night.

If the friendly is on then all (Black, White and Red) squads are invited to turn up. We will play 9 a side so all will get match time. (Please remember trainers !)

Saturday’s Squad:  BLACK & RED

Directions:  The Marl is in lower Grangetown, head towards IKEA, turn onto Ferry Rd. The large playing field is on Ferry Road next to the Channel View Leisure Centre. (It can get extremely windy)
